“ This turned out to be one of my favorite places we ate pizza. We get Neapolitan style pizza back home so I was more interested in Roman style. Boccaccia had simple delicious flavors like pesto zucchini with basil & vegetables (the best one and our favorite!), potato & sausage, diavola, classic cheese, mushroom, & a few other flavors. The only one I didn’t care for was lettuce and olives but that’s personal preference. The woman behind the counter spoke little English but was so kind and had great energy. She was patient with us & seemed to know exactly what we were communicating. She must’ve sensed my kids were hungry because she randomly gifted us with plain bread that I think is called Bianco which was thin & crackly and delicious (salted and baked with olive oil?) while we waited for our slice selections to warm up in the oven. She had also directed us from a table in the front to a bigger one in the back so we’d be more comfortable. Very thoughtful woman and we appreciated her and the pizza. It came piping hot to our table and we enjoyed the hot pizza with cold sodas. Delicious! ”
“ Really good food, pizzas by weight and they heat it up for you right there. It’s somewhat of a local spot so don’t expect to be welcomed in english but there’s no difficulties communicating because everything is on display. We sat on the benches that were outside. Perfect for a quick bite! ”
